The building kit "House Ecosun" is an educational toy powered by solar energy. Features: It's a DIY building kit, a toy and educational tool in one. It allows children to spend time creatively and teaches them how to use solar energy. When sunlight hits a small solar panel mounted on the roof, it charges a 600mAh Ni-MH battery that supplies a light-emitting diode (LED) that switches on automatically when it gets dark. When it gets light again, the LED switches off automatically. When the battery is fully charged, the LED shines all night long. The generously dimensioned solar panel with approx. 80mA recharges the battery completely on a sunny summer day! The illustrated instructions accompany the assembly step by step and ensure easy assembly. Children under 14 may need adult assistance. Laser-cut models offer the highest precision: everything simply fits together perfectly! The construction kit is assembled in just a few steps, made easy thanks to the detailed, illustrated manual, no complicated tools are required. Wood glue may be needed to secure the parts (glue not included). The house can be decorated and painted in your own creative style! The toy must be placed in a sunny location so that direct sunlight hits the solar panel. Places such as window ledges on the south side, covered balconies, terraces and all other sunny places are well suited. The battery will not charge on a cloudy day, in the shade or in indirect sunlight. The battery can also be charged with artificial light (50W halogen lamp). Unsuitable, however, are neon tubes and energy-saving lamps. Please note that the solar house must not be exposed to rain, snow, etc. it must always be kept dry. Solar-powered toys offer a fantastic way to introduce children to the benefits of green power and renewable energy. This set is made of wooden parts, making the learning experience even more eco-friendly. A brief overview of assembly Remove the parts from the box and separate pieces. Follow the illustrated manual, join the marked walls and then place on the base. Carefully install the battery pack, connect the wires and the control switch. The wires to the sun battery should be connected using your fingers, do not use screwdriver. The solar panel is attached on the roof. This part of the roof is clipped into the holes but not glued so that the battery can be replaced if needed. Before first use or if the battery is discharged due to poor light conditions, the solar house must be fully charged. To do this, place the model in the sun and set the switch to OFF. Now allow the charging electronics to fully charge for at least two days in the sun. After that, the model is ready for use again. Wooden parts can be varnished or colored.
