Beaphar CARE+ guinea pig food contains specially stabilised vitamin C, which is especially important for guinea pigs. As well as 21% fibre for better digestion. Each pellet has the same composition ("all in one"), which is important for a balanced diet as it prevents selective eating and the build-up of leftovers. Specially hardened pellets promote natural tooth wear.
Beaphar CARE+ food for guinea pigs is low in fat and contains: - Green tea extract to stimulate and support the immune system - Echinacea - Spirulina - Vitamin E - Yucca schidigera Chelated minerals for better absorption and availability - FOS and MOS to support healthy gut flora - Omega 3/6 fatty acids.
Feeding recommendations: most guinea pigs readily accept Beaphar CARE+; however, if you are switching from another food, it is important to make the change gradually. Therefore, mix some of the old food with Beaphar CARE+ in the first few days. The daily amount of Beaphar CARE+ depends on the size and weight of the guinea pig; give 30-50 g per day, ideally divided between two meals. The guinea pig should have unrestricted access to fresh hay throughout the day. Fresh drinking water should always be available. Store Beaphar CARE+ in a cool, dry place.
